Fuerth, who was National Security Advisor to Vice President Gore, is a professor at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. RAND BEERS, foreign policy advisor to Senator John Kerry. Beers was a counter-terrorism specialist at the National Security Council under President George W. Bush. JONATHAN CHAIT, senior editor at The New Republic. MORTON KONDRACKE, executive editor and columnist at Roll Call, and contributor to the Fox News Channel. JOSHUA MURAVCHIK, resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute and the author of Heaven on Earth and The Imperative of American Leadership LAWRENCE F. KAPLAN, moderator, is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute and a senior editor at The New Republic.
