Book Discussion: The Future of Neoconservatism

Edited and with an introduction by Irwin Stelzer, The Neocon Reader (Grove Press; $15.00; January 25, 2005), attempts to dispel the myths that neoconservatism is a radical and cohesive movement.

The Neocon Reader is a landmark collection of writings, covering both theory and practice, by some of the most influential and controversial theoreticians and politicians in the world, including Tony Blair, Richard Perle, Robert Kagan, Condoleezza Rice, George Will, Jeane Kirkpatrick, Charles Krauthammer, Adam Wolfson, Irving Kristol, Jacob Heilbrunn, William Kristol, Margaret Thatcher, David Brooks, Max Boot, George L. Kelling, Kenneth Weinstein, João Carlos Espada, James Q. Wilson, Karlyn Bowman and Michael Gove.
