The failure of Israel to fully subdue Hezbollah has ignited a national debate in Israel over IDF strategy and tactics as well as over preparation on the home front. With recent calls for a major inquiry on war strategy in Lebanon, Israel will be debating the implications of the Lebanon War for some time to come. Professor Efraim Inbar, one of Israel’s leading strategic analysts and Director of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies, will address the ramifications of the crisis in Israel and provide some insight into what worked and what did not in Lebanon.

Efraim Inbar is a Professor in Political Studies at Bar-Ilan University and the Director of its Begin-Sadat (BESA) Center for Strategic Studies.
