Hudson Institute invites you to attend a wine-and-cheese reception for the inaugural seminar of the Telecommunications, Information Policy and National Security Seminar series. In a rare address to a Washington, D.C. audience, the Honorable Richard A. Posner will provide his expert commentary on the over-judicialization of counterterrorism.

The Honorable Richard Posner has been a judge with the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals since 1981. He also teaches part time at the University of Chicago Law School as a senior lecturer. Judge Posner is also a prolific writer, having authored over 30 books and more than 300 articles. Most recently, Judge Posner has examined issues such as the proposed reform of the intelligence system following September 11, the effects and responses to mega-catastrophes, and the concept of democracy.

Judge Posner will be introduced by Hudson Institute Senior Fellow Harold Furchtgott-Roth.
