Hudson Institute’s Center for Eurasian Policy and Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies of Singapore held a two-day workshop (September 19-20) in Jakarta, where a select group of international experts and government officials discussed the ideology, methodology, and operations of various Islamist movements, such as Jeemah Islamiyah, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Tablighi Jamaat, Hizb ut-Tahrir, and others.
