Institutions of Internet Security Featuring Professor Susan Crawford Cardozo Law School, Yeshiva University Thursday April 5th, 2007 12:00-2:00 PM Hudson Institute invites you to luncheon seminar for the second of Hudson’s Telecommunications, Information, and Security Policy Seminar series with Susan Crawford, Associate Professor of Law at Cardozo Law School and member of the board of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). Professor Crawford will provide an overview of growing security threats to the Internet and explore existing and possible future institutions to meet these new challenges. Internet communications are central to the national and world economy, but there are limited structures available for discussion and resolution of critical Internet security issues. Professor Crawford has served as a partner at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering (Washington, D.C.). She has also taught copyright law as an adjunct professor at the Georgetown Law Center, and she writes frequently about online legal issues. She is also a Policy Fellow with the Center for Democracy & Technology, a Fellow with the Yale Information Society Project, and a member of the Board of Directors of Innovation Network. Professor Crawford will be introduced by Hudson Institute Senior Fellow Harold Furchtgott-Roth, former Commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission. Lunch will be served.
