Democracy and Security

June 5, 2007, (Two Day Event)

Hudson Institute is pleased to be one of the partner organizations for the June 5-6, 2007 Democracy and Security International Conference convened in Prague, The Czech Republic, by The Prague Security Studies Institute, The Shalem Center, and FAES. As part of the conference, Hudson President Herb London will participate in a panel entitled “Has the Democratization Process Reached an Impasse?,” which features Richard Dearlove, Bassem Eid, Bruce Jackson, Issam Abu Issa, and Dan Polisar. Senior Fellow Anne Bayefsky will be on a panel on “The Role of Democratic States, International Institutions, and Media in the Global Security Environment,” featuring, among others, Tod Lindberg, Zainab al-Suwaij, David Bercuson, Walid Phares and Jamie Shea.
