James C. Capretta

James C. Capretta is a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and an adjunct fellow with Hudson Institute. Capretta has nearly two decades of experience as a leading expert on the U.S. federal budget.

He has served in senior positions in Congress and the executive branch, most recently as associate director in the White House Office of Management and Budget.
