Justin Polin is a Research Associate at the Hudson Institute’s Center for National Security Strategies. He earned an M.A. in Statecraft and National Security Affairs from the Institute of World Politics (2006) and a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University (2002).
Polin has written about U.S-Pakistan relations, constitutional issues of Pakistan, the ideological foundation of Indian and Pakistani foreign policy, and Kashmir. He has also written about U.S. national security issues including strategic information policy, civil society construction, and democracy promotion. He speaks Italian, reads Hindi-Urdu, and has studied in northern India. Polin serves as a member of the Panel of Experts for Spearhead Research, a Lahore-based research institute headed by former Pakistani Army Chief of Staff and former Ambassador to the United States Jehangir Karamat.
In June 2010, Polin was selected as a 2010 National Review Institute Washington Fellow.
