Admiral Linda L. Fagan assumed duties as the twenty-seventh Commandant of the Coast Guard in June 2022. Admiral Fagan has served on all seven continents during her distinguished Coast Guard career. Her prior flag assignments included serving as commander of Pacific Area and commander of Coast Guard Defense Force West. Operational tours include sea duty in the heavy icebreaker USCGC Polar Star.
