Mark Moyar

Senior Fellow, Program on National Security, Foreign Policy Research Institute

In Strategic Failure, historian Mark Moyar examines the Obama administration’s defense and security policy decisions. Dr. Moyar, a former Senior Fellow at the Joint Special Operations University and consultant to the U.S. Special Operations Command and U.S. Central Command, argues that the administration’s policies have weakened America’s position in the world, undermined key allies, and contributed to the most uncertain world situation since the end of the Cold War.

Strategic Failure offers a sobering analysis of President Obama’s approach to foreign policy and national security and describes what the next presidential administration should do to restore America’s international standing.

On Tuesday, June 30th, Hudson Institute hosted a wide-ranging discussion with Dr. Moyar and Senior Fellow Arthur Herman. A book signing followed the event.
