Rajeev Chandrasekhar

Rajeev Chandrasekhar is an Indian Member of Parliament, representing Bengaluru City and State of Karnataka.

His career has spanned from being a Design Engineer and Microprocessor Architect at Intel in the Silicon Valley to setting up one of India’s earliest cellular companies and pioneering Telecom in India to a Technology Investor and to an active political and public figure in India.

He is one of India’s most involved politicians in issues of Economy, Governance and Technology. For the first 12 years of his political career he was an Independent MP but loosely aligned to the Center-Right BJP and in his third term as MP from April 2018, he is a member of the BJP.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s in Computer Science, and an Honorary Doctorate in Science.
