Pakistan is a 'Partial' Democracy

On August 3rd, Ambassador Husain Haqqani appeared on Amanpour on CNN International to discuss Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif being forced from office. Haqqani said that Pakistan is “not a democracy in that leaders are actually voted out.”
