On PBS News Hour, Michael Doran discussed President Donald Trump’s deal with Iran. He argued that one of the clauses is fundamentally different from previous arrangements: as long as the memorandum of understanding remains in effect, Iran will not enrich uranium. He explained that the deal was essential for getting the Strait of Hormuz open while postponing the more difficult issues for future negotiations.
