Hudson Institute’s Center for the Economics of the Internet will host David Redl to discuss future telecommunications challenges—privacy, cybersecurity, trade, competition with China, the deployment of new 5G wireless technologies—and opportunities in the United States. Redl currently serves as administrator for the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration. The discussion will be moderated by Hudson’s Harold Furchtgott-Roth, a former FCC commissioner.
Redl is a lawyer and communications policy expert with more than a decade of experience in government and the private sector. He was previously the chief counsel at the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce.
