Hudson Institute hosted an event to discuss a new report, The Prospective Foreign Policy of a Corbyn Government and its U.S. National Security Implications. The report author, Dr. Azeem Ibrahim, discussed the current volatile political situation in the UK and the consequences for U.S.-UK relations. The discussion will be moderated by Hudson Fellow Peter Rough.

The report considers the challenges of a prospective administration led by Jeremy Corbyn, leader of the Labour Party, to the historically close and effective alliance between the U.S. and UK. Specifically, it probes Jeremy Corbyn’s record on human rights—in particular his support of regimes and movements that have notoriously committed human rights violations—and the implications of a Corbyn-led government for western intelligence.
