The Hon. Brendan Carr is a commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission. He has been a leading voice on the rule of law at the FCC. Together with Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS), Commissioner Carr recently proposed a new $100 million Connected Care Pilot Program to support telehealth for low-income Americans, especially veterans and those living in rural areas.

On July 31, Commissioner Carr and Harold Furchtgott-Roth, Hudson senior fellow and director of the Center for the Economics of the Internet, discussed Connected Care and other communications issues facing the United States.
