Speakers:

The Trump administration’s rollout of Operation Economic Outcast against the Islamic Republic of Iran has focused attention on Beijing’s commercial and strategic partnership with the regime in Tehran.

China facilitates most of Iran’s oil sales and is rapidly supplanting Russia as the regime’s primary defense partner, building on their 2021 cooperation program. Beijing’s support for Tehran includes air defense systems, ballistic missile production, intelligence sharing, and electronic warfare capabilities.
