Iku Tsujihiro is a research associate with Hudson Institute’s Japan Chair.

Biography

Iku Tsujihiro is a research associate with Hudson Institute’s Japan Chair.

Her research focuses on issues including US extended deterrence in Northeast Asia, Taiwan contingency readiness, and Indo-Pacific economic security.

She was recently selected as a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies’ Missile Dialogue Initiative Young Leaders Programme and the Defense Studies Committee of the Japan Institute of International Affairs. She is also a national security and defense fellow at the Alexander Hamilton Society.

Ms. Tsujihiro previously served as a Nuclear Scholars Initiative fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

She received an MA in security studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a BA in philosophy from Brandeis University.

She is originally from Tokyo, Japan.
