In an era marked by complex global challenges and rapid change, the United States’ ability to respond to crises and shape the future of international engagement is more critical than ever. Hudson Institute will host Senior Official Jeremy Lewin who is currently performing the duties of under secretary of state for foreign assistance, humanitarian affairs, and religious freedom, for a fireside chat.

Moderated by Senior Fellow Matthew Boyse, a 35-year foreign service officer, this conversation will explore the evolving landscape of American diplomacy and development. Speakers will discuss current aid strategies, how the US can build on recent foreign assistances successes like the response to Hurricane Melissa, progress on the America First Global Health Strategy, and the importance of partnerships with faith-based organizations. They will also examine how the United States leverages partnerships, innovation, and strategic vision to address urgent humanitarian needs and advance long-term global stability.
