Inal Sherip

Inal Sherip is a Belgium-based cultural studies scholar and film director whose work applies cultural expertise to contemporary political processes. From 2011 to 2022, he served as vice prime minister for culture, education and science of the government of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria in exile, and since 2022 he has served as its minister of foreign affairs.
